Feeding Disorders

We support children who experience challenges with eating, including difficulty accepting new foods, limited diets, and concerns with chewing or swallowing.

Our approach addresses both the sensory and functional aspects of feeding, helping children become more confident, efficient, and comfortable eaters.

Common Feeding Challenges

Your child may benefit from feeding therapy if they:

  • Have a limited variety of accepted foods

  • Avoid certain textures, smells, or appearances

  • Demonstrate picky or selective eating

  • Have difficulty chewing or managing food in the mouth

  • Exhibit tongue thrusting patterns

  • Struggle with lip closure during chewing

  • Have reduced tongue strength, coordination, or mobility

  • Experience gagging, pocketing, or messy eating

  • Struggle with weight gain or adequate nutrition

Our Goal

Our goal is to help children develop the skills needed for safe, efficient, and enjoyable eating, while expanding their diet and building confidence at mealtimes.
